GlobalMalaysians.Com To Help Malaysians All Over The World To Network & Help One Another

Haha ... I just came across a new website with a great initiative:
GlobalMalaysians.Com - A project to link Malaysians globally.

Frankly, it is a good idea and effort :)

It seems that the website was just launched recently, 10 June 2005. Ok, first, let's see what information we can find out about it.

According to this The Star article, the Global Malaysians Network is:

"An initiative by the Asian Centre for Media Studies and supported by The Star, the project is aimed at networking Malaysians and tapping resources that they can offer to other Malaysians worldwide."

and

"The network is our response to the opportunities and challenges of globalisation. It will facilitate the sharing of knowledge, skills, experience, investments and contacts among its members."

Sounds good isn't it?

Eventhough there are already many forums and discussions groups where Malaysians from all over the world "meet" online and communicate with one another, it is still great to know that there is now another venue where fellow Malaysians can share and help one another through WIN/WIN collaborations :)

All the best for everyone involved in coming up with the idea and putting it together and especially for those who will make the best of it, may the force be with you and more power to you .. hehe. :)

cheers,
