Visiting Malaysia 2014

Malaysia is one of the most unique countries in the world. Why? Because we have people from every creed and race, living united as one. We live in peace and harmony, despite the different religions we believe in and the colour of our skin is. Malaysians are truly, one of a kind. In conjuction with the Visit Malaysia Year, I will write about some of the many interesting places that can be visited.

Sarawak is the land famous for its traditional Ngajat dance. It will surely keep you entertained with the beautiful music and of course with dancers as beautiful as the moon and as graceful as swans. This traditional dance is inherited by their grandmothers and great grandmothers and there is nothing like it in other countries. So, if you want to soothe your ears and please your eyes, you should definitely book a ticket now to Sarawak because early bird catches the worm.

Malaysia, or Tanah Melayu, was originally found on this historical land, Melaka. In the historical town, the A'Famosa fort is still standing tough and strong despite being built over 400 years ago. This fort symbolizes how our forefathers had been colonized mercilessly by the Porturguese and how they fought back endlessly, until we were finally freed from colonialism on August 31st, in 1957. All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy. We should visit Melaka because it is both historical and educational thus, we are killing two birds with one stone.
